About this place
In a residential neighbourhood of Shinozakimachi, Edogawa City, Kitchen Kokoro is a takeaway shop offering a wide range of Korean deli dishes. Its menu includes kimbap, Korean pancakes, side dishes and boxed meals, with plenty of options for an everyday lunch or something to serve with dinner.
The kimbap comes in several varieties: classic vegetable, rich tuna mayonnaise and bulgogi, filled with sweet-and-spicy ingredients. Chive and seafood pancakes are also available. One customer who bought a chive pancake said it was more substantial than expected, and that reheating it in a frying pan at home worked well.
There is also a good selection of side dishes, including japchae, tteokbokki, an assortment of 3 kinds of kimchi featuring napa cabbage and kkakdugi, and an assortment of 4 kinds of namul. During the colder months, from 11 to 3, the menu also features sundubu jjigae and yukgaejang soup, making it easy to put together a warming meal with soup.
The shop is open on weekdays from 11:30 to 19:00 and is closed on Saturdays and Sundays. It accepts QR-code payments such as PayPay and Rakuten Pay, making it a handy stop at lunchtime or on the way home.
